A Thousand Words Festival Primary School Competition – Guidelines
Students in years 1-6 are invited to submit entries to the 2011 ATW cover competition.
The competition is now open for submissions and will close on the 18th of September at 5pm. Shortlisted illustrators will be notified via email and will receive free entry to A Thousand Words Festival on Saturday 24th of September. The winner will be announced at the festival gala that evening and will receive an art prize pack, with their entry published on the A Thousand Words Website.
Covers can be absolutely anything you can imagine, and the wilder the blurbs the better – the only catch is that they must be totally original.
The winner will be chosen by festival director and YA specialist Bec Kavanagh and announced by Tim Pegler at the 2011 A Thousand Words festival gala.
